Useful Information

www.peachcocktail.co.uk

We have designed our web site to help you choose your stationery in the comfort of your own home and at a time that suits you best. We have tried to provide the main tools that you will need to make the choice that is right for you, i.e. quality photographic images, clear descriptions, detailed prices, sample availability, online ordering and flexible payment facilities.

Some of our web pages are still being developed and these will be online in the near future. In the meantime, if you cannot find what you are looking for, please get in touch, as we can most likely design and produce your stationery to your individual requirements.

Wedding Themes

Your stationery design and colour should be considered as part of the Wedding theme. This starts with the Invitation and follows right through to the Menus, Place Cards and finally the Thank You Cards to ensure the theme is complete.

Design Styles and Options

All designs have various options to suit preferred styles, requirements, colour schemes or budgets. Always check the 'Related Items' at the foot of the page that is linked to the item you are interested in. This will show you all the options that are available with that item of the design.

Brochure and Samples

Our mini brochure contains less information than our web site and is only intended as a brief portable guide. If you would like to order a sample of your favourite designs, a Mini Brochure would be included in the package along with an Order Form, Order Form Guide and corresponding Price Lists (for those who do not want to order online). Please note that we only supply Day Invitations as samples.

To order your samples online; please click on ‘Sample Request’ in the options below, or wherever you see an ‘Order Sample’ button. Make your choice, click ‘Add to Basket’ and this will take you through the purchasing process. If you just wish to order a mini brochure, click on ‘ Brochure Request’ and enter your details. Alternatively you can telephone on 01235 536555 or e-mail info@peachcocktail.co.uk.

Ordering Options

We want you to be able to place an order in whichever way is best for you. This is why we have tried to cover all options and hopefully keep everyone happy. If you prefer not to order online but have web site access, see ‘Methods of Ordering and Paying’, listed under ‘Ordering’ within our web site. Here you can see all options available to you.

We are very approachable by any means so please feel free to contact us if you have any queries or special requests.

Split Orders

We are very happy to process your order in stages but this will incur delivery costs at each stage (unless of course you collect).

Minimum Order

We have no minimum order, in fact we have produced just one card for a proposal, which we are proud to say had a positive outcome, but very small orders will be reflected in the end cost. Our price list starts at 25 so anything less will require a manual quote. We are happy to do this for you.

How long will it take?

Four to six weeks depending upon the time of the year is comfortable for us to produce most orders once all the wording has been approved. An Express delivery service is available at an extra charge of 10%. Your order will then be treated as priority and processed separately from any other order. An express order should be completed in two weeks after all wording has been approved. Contact us if you are at all worried about timing.

Wording
Wording can be finalized at your convenience as you do not need this to be complete when placing an order. Decide on the stationery first and the wording can follow as and when you have all the information. If you have ordered on-line, your e-mailed confirmation of order will contain a link directly to the wording facility, where you can download some forms to help guide you through constructing your wording. These forms can be used to help you email your wording or alternatively printed and completed for return to us by post.

Personalised Options

We offer ‘Personalised’ options on text, on all our items. This enables you to have your own names printed within the text instead of the more generalised version which we call ‘range’. If you click on ‘Wording’ below, you will see some examples of personalised items. Also, when viewing prices per item you will be able to click on ‘related items’ and compare the costs between the ‘range’ and ‘personalised’ options. Please call if you need any help with this.

Proofing

When we have prepared your wording ready for print, we will send you a copy for final approval. We will not continue with your order until this has been returned.

Any delay with this will result in a delay with your order. Our prices include one proof per item. Any additional proofs will cost £10 each.

Materials

We take great care in choosing the right material for each design and these are always of high quality and usually of a heavier weight than many others provide.

The material has to be suitable for the processes being applied, such as thermography and embossing, and in a colour which compliments the design. We have recently added some striking colours to our ranges to inspire and excite the senses.

The ‘total look’ is so important to us that, if we cannot purchase an envelope in the size and material to match the design, we make our own. Many are lined to enhance the quality and add a ‘touch of class’.

Save the Date

‘Save the Date’ cards are a good idea if your wedding is in the holiday season and you want to inform your guests well in advance, before you have finalised all the details. Overseas guests will appreciate the extended notice. They are usually sent by the host as soon as the date for your wedding is set.

Day Invitations

Wedding Invitations are normally posted eight to twelve weeks before the event.

It is advisable to order a few extra invitations to allow for mistakes, extra names etc.

It will be cheaper than ordering a reprint at a later date and save valuable time, especially as some people may be offended if they think they are on the last minute reserve list.

Remember, the number of invitations does not always equal the number of guests.

Allow one invitation per family. You should make it clear if children are not invited.

Evening Invitations

These are sent to the guests who are not invited to the Wedding Ceremony.

They are usually sent at the same time as the day invitations and again you should make it clear if children are not invited.

Information Cards

These are single two-page cards and can be used to inform your guests of any other information which you feel they should know about. This could be directions, local accommodation, special venue rules, gift list etc.  They are sent with the invitation and are printed in the same font and material unless you choose otherwise. You decide what you need to say and create your own words via our ‘wording’ page or copy submitted.

They are available with any design except compilations, where they are already included.

Lined Envelopes

These are available as an extra for the designs which are not already supplied with lined envelopes.

Guest addressed envelopes

Envelopes for the invitations can have your guests’ names and addresses printed on clear labels. There is a small extra charge for this and you would need to supply us with a mailing list or preferably a digital Excel file.

Reply Cards

These are sent with the invitations to encourage your guests to reply promptly and enable you to finalise your seating and catering arrangements.

The envelopes can have clear labels applied with the return address printed (see options with each design for prices). The cards can be fully personalised if required.

Reply cards within the compilation designs are fully personalised and of a ‘postcard’ style with your return address printed as standard.

Order of Service

The ushers hand these to your guests for them to follow throughout the ceremony. They make a wonderful memento of your special day and may include the entrance music, hymns, prayers, readings, vows, signing of the register and exit music.

It is usually recommended that you allow one per guest and extra for the choir and clergy. You should discuss the contents with your vicar before finalising the wording. Depending on how detailed you have your Order of Service, you will need to decide on how many pages are required. We can advise you on this if you wish.

Menu

Your guests will be interested to know what the food and drink arrangements are, whether it is a seated dinner or a more relaxed buffet. The menu can also advise them on speeches and toasts. You should order a minimum of three, per table of eight, plus a couple extra for the top table.

Place Cards

These are made in the same board and style as your main invitations, as are all the elements of your chosen design. They are usually left blank for your guest’s name to be added or where possible (see pricing) digitally printed with your guests names from a copy or file provided. Most place cards are ‘tent fold’ and free standing usually with some form of decoration. A few have ribbon and can be tied to a champagne glass or other object and some lay flat with mounted onlays or ribbon tie - the choice is yours. You will need one per guest plus a few spare.

Table Plan

This is individual to your wedding and can be designed as you wish.

It is a guide to your guests as to where they should sit and at which table.

You can number the tables or give them a name, which is more fun and could be in keeping with your wedding theme.

Please contact us with your ideas.

Table Numbers or Names

These are also available and produced to order.

Favour Boxes
Favour Boxes are for holding small gifts given as a gesture of appreciation or gratitude from the bride and groom to their guests during a wedding ceremony or a wedding reception.

Cake Boxes
Cake boxes are often used to present the wedding guest with a piece of the wedding cake to take home with them, or a more recent trend is to have pre-filled cake boxes as the actual cake display.

Guest Book

Guest books enable the guests to leave good luck wishes or a message expressing their thoughts, creating a memorable keepsake.

Thank You

It is polite to thank your guests for their gifts and for sharing in your special day. The cards are either blank inside for your own message or printed with a brief note of thanks.

If you are changing addresses at this time you could use this same card as a ‘change of address’ announcement.
